Welcome to the website for Barbara McChesney Photography. I love working with people and capturing the special moments and events in our lives whether it is formal portraits or fun candid shots. I usually work with my husband Dave as my assistant. We make a great team with him helping with lights, equipment, ideas, back up shooting and overall support. Most of all he is great at helping to make each photo session an experience. As a result, we are able to capture great smiles and expressions. I occasionally work with other local photographers on big jobs. Dave and I thoroughly enjoy working on location and are willing to travel to your special place for portraits or events. I have a home studio set up with professional lighting, a range of backdrops as well as a large yard which serves as a lovely backdrop for family and individual portraits.

I am available for the following: high school seniors, individual and family portraits, business head shots, weddings, anniversaries, corporate functions, winery events, birthday parties and other special events. I am open to the creativity of my clients. Please talk to me about photography portrait stations for your corporate event or theme party.

Professional quality prints and photo products may be ordered from my online galleries. Click on the ʻBuyʼ icon on the upper right of your gallery. You will see a drop down menu showing pricing for prints as well as products. You may choose from a wide range of sizes and print finishes including lustre, glossy, metallic, canvas, metal and many more. Once you select the photo size you want, a cropping box may appear on your photo. You have the option to crop your own photos. It is important to pay attention to the cropping as some sizes donʼt work for certain photos. Please remember I can help you at any time with your order. Custom orders are available on request. Photography portrait sessions start at $150. Weddings and special events start at $500. A typical portrait session lasts 1-2 hours. Digital package including all edited images on a DVD suitable for printing as well as images for social networking and emailing may also be included with your session at additional costs.
